World Rally WRC Suspension System

Following on from our success with Citroen Sport and in line with the NEW 2011 FIA WRC regulations, exe-tc have developed an all new double acting linear guiding system. Using a NEW changing pressure face system, this has allowed us to retrieve a % of the low friction advantage produced by our WRC roller guiding system.

7 World Rally championships, our suspension has proven its performance time and time again.

Low Friction Guiding
Our NEW double acting linear guiding system, reduces the initial friction, which avoids load build up on the face of the tyre. We developed and proved this advantage, with the WRC roller bearing system.

Precise Hydraulic Damping
Low seal friction together with high flow hydraulics has given us a damping system, that dissipates energy from the first millimetre of its movement.

Compression Sensitivity
Interacting low and high speed compression adjustments, ensures consistency when optimizing (higher) chassis loads and (lower) tyre inputs (seamless/stepless). 'Low' and 'High' is the speed/rate that the rod and piston moves into the damper. Small/light inputs, results in low damper speed (generally from the tyre), and Large/heavy inputs, result in high damper speed (generally from the chassis loads/landings).

Rebound Advantage
Rebound hydraulics gives instant wheel release/drop out, but still retains control over the tyre frequency/movement. Adjustment is coupled to a temperature control valve to ensure consistency throughout the entire damping range.

High Load Control
ESA adjustment of the second damping piston, adds position sensitivity to the entire damping range. Adds extra damping and support from high loads/landings. Allows for softer springs and increases usable stroke.

Spring Advantage
Completely independent spring movement/rotation, reduces the induced bending loads caused by the spring. Progressive spring, allow for a softer spring rate at ride height, which is then compensated for with a harder rate as the spring compresses.

Performance
Softer springs, enhances the mechanical grip and increases tyre life. More sensitive damping, controls the chassis and tyre frequencies (movement), which results in a stronger feeling and confidence for the driver...

Chassis Setup

When you purchase suspension from us we supply a complete chassis set-up with recommendations for toe, camber, castor, ride height, spring rate, damper setting and in some cases can supply front and rear LSD set-up. You are also free to contact us about changes for varying conditions in different parts of the world.
