Precise Hydraulic Damping

 

Standard dampers are 1-way adjustable - 3-way is available on request.

 

All our dampers feature low seal friction together with high flow hydraulics, reducing breakaway forces to a minimum. This gives a damping system that dissipates energy from the first millimetre of movement and allows for a more compliant set up.

 
Rebound Hydraulics and Softer Springs

Give instant wheel release/drop out while still retaining control over the tyre movement. Adjustment is coupled to a temperature control valve to ensure consistency throughout the entire damping range, even through the toughest of conditions. This combined with the use of a  lower spring rate, allows greater control over the movement of the sprung and un-sprung mass. When executed correctly, both tyre life and mechanical grip improve greatly, resulting in greater driver confidence and ride comfort.

 
Coating and Protection

We know, from our many years experience in the World Rally Championship, that our suspension has to first and foremost, be reliable. We achieve this by continually pursuing the latest technology in surface treatments and coatings, ultimately producing a product that will maintain its functionality and performance. We carry this philosophy throughout our entire range of products.

Struts

Classic vehicles can have a variation in mounting for struts - typically on the front. Some models such as Ford Escort & Porsche 911 are available with NEW forged uprights*. We are also able to adapt donor uprights if necessary.

 

Struts are available in two different configurations:

- Twin tube configuration: Inverted damper and outer tube guidance system, allows for greater strength and reliability.

- Single tube configuration: Traditional ‘mono-tube’ design. Features an Aluminium cover to protect the damper spindle.

Uprights for Porsche are to OE spec.

Bespoke Orders and Setup

 

With a team of design engineers on-site, along with a full CNC machine shop, we can offer bespoke designs manufactured in-house. Set up and damper characteristics can also be altered to suit your needs. Our suspension fits to OE mounting and comes with new rubber bushing. Contact one of our engineers if you have specific requirements.

Spring/Torsion Bar Configuration

For Porsche 911: Depending on the setup and application, our suspension uses either the original torsion bar set up or a combination of torsion bar / coilover springs. Specification of torsion bar provided and evaluation of coilover fitment would need to take place before ordering.

Top Mounts

Our suspension fits to OE mounting and comes with new rubber bushing. Please contact us if you require a bespoke mounting solution.

Safari spec top mounts are also available for Porsche 911 models from ‘69 to ‘89. Front mounts are adjustable to two positions of camber, with bespoke aluminium housing and mounting plate and steel spherical bearing. Rear features reinforced steel plate and enhanced cushioning.
