Gavin Riches of Autoquest Cars asked Exe-tc to develop a suspension system for their 2007 Porsche GT3 RS. The car is predominately used in Targa rallying in New Zealand. Many of the special stages there are extremely bumpy. Exe-tc developed a full three way adjustable system with progressive springs and additional travel. Gavin has said the suspension has transformed the car - he says it feels completely planted in the rough bumpy stages and has a lot more mechanical grip. After spending a couple of days fine tuning a wet weather setup, the results were amazing! In atrocious wet weather conditions, a two wheel drive Porsche was now able to keep up with the four wheel drive rally cars. Graham and the team at Exe-tc really understand suspension and chassis dynamics. I am really looking forward to working with them to fine tune the suspension further, and optimizing the cars performance. The gains will amaze you.
