Travis Pastrana - the four times Rally America National Champion - and co-driver Christian Edstrom have won the first event of the RANC 2010. Pastrana arrived at the event with his arm in a sling and drove the whole event in excruciating pain following surgery for a shoulder injured incurred earlier in the week. If this wasn't enough to cope with, the icy road conditions were by far the most terrifying Pastrana and his challengers had ever encountered. Despite all this Pastrana and Edstrom won seven of the second days twelve stages and ended the race with a lead of 1 min and 37 seconds.
