Another great result for Albatec

Following their great results from last weekend, Albatec hoped to repeat their success at Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona for the next round of the Euro Rallycross.

It was and eventful weekend with all three cars pushing hard from the off. Jérôme Grosset-Janin and Andy Scott showed good form in the qualifying rounds, both posting good consistent times. Q2 would see Tommy Rustad flip his 208 RX unexpectedly; the car was not completely wrecked, and the team put a lot of effort in and got the car back into shape for the remaining races the next day.

The final two qualifiers provided great all-round action for all three cars, with all progressing to the semi-finals.

The semi-final saw all three cars together to battle it out. Both Rustad and Grosset-Janin made two of the three to enter the final, with Scott just missing out on the last place.

The hotly contested final resulted in Rustad coming through to second and Grosset-Janin in fourth.

Great effort by the drivers and all at Albatec racing; especially to get Rustad's car back to top form!
