Another success added to the Tuthill mantelpiece. This time Francis Tuthill took his VW Beetle to victory at the Rift Valley 1000 last month, where he came first in class and 13th overall along with his co-driver Raju Chagger.
As you can see from the images below, the terrain would be challenging for any vehicle, let alone a classic Beetle. This triumph proves that the Beetle platform is more than capable of handling such a challenge, and we would love to see more of this in the future.
Everyone here at EXE-TC would like to send a massive congratulations to Francis and all involved from Tuthill Porsche. Make sure to look out for the build up to the East African Safari Rally in 2017, where Tuthill Porsche and EXE-TC will sure to be making a strong appearance - and hopefully their second successive win.
