New N5 platform showing it's potential

Updated: Apr 30, 2019

Our long-time partners RMC Motorsport in Spain have made a promising start with the new N5 platform in Spain. Based on the 2017 Renault Clio, the new N5-spec cars provide a competitive alternative to the already established R5-spec.

Unveiled earlier this month, this is the second car to be completed by RMC, with backing from Renault Sport Spain. Still 4WD, but using a smaller 1.6 Turbo engine, it has proven to be more than a match for the R5 cars, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for this platform.

Piloted by Miguel Fuster (5-time Spanish Champion) and Ignacio Aviñó, they retained second place, just 44 seconds behind the recent champions in the Ivan Ares and Jose Antonio Pintor and their Hyundai i20 R5.

All of the new N5 and Maxi Rally cars on both tarmac and gravel from RMC use EXE-TC 4-way adjustable dampers with our latest sliding-bush upgrade. Contact us for more information.
