Vallejo Brothers at Rally Isla de los Volcanes

Updated: Apr 30, 2019

Another promising result for the Vallejo brothers last weekend. Securing another fantastic result at the third round of the Spanish National Rally Championship, on the island of Lanzorote in the Canary Islands.

The Rally Isla de los Volcanes saw 62 competitors take to stages surrounding the town of Teguise, the historic capital of the island. Conditions where very dry, and the terrain treacherous, consisting mostly of dry sand and very loose gravel.

After climbing their way up from further down the order, as the rally progressed, the brothers where on course to beat their overall result from the last round. Even after suffering a 10 second penalty on the third stage, they would reach 12th overall, beating their 14th place at the Rallye Ciudad de Pozoblanco.

The next round of the championship takes place in North-Western Spain, at the Rally Terra da Auga on the 25th-26th of May.

Again, we wish everyone at Vallejo Racing the best of luck with the future rounds, and cannot wait for more fantastic results.
